Airpura Replacement Regular 2 Carbon Filter

Airpura 18 lbs. Coconut Shell Activated Carbon Filter

The Airpura Replacement 2 Regular Carbon Filter contains 18 lbs. of activated carbon that removes mild to moderate airborne chemicals, noxious gases, odors, and smoke. Ideal for chemically sensitive individuals, this carbon filter can absorb up to 60% of its own weight in air pollution. It is designed to fit the following Airpura air purifier models R600, R614, UV600, P600, and P600+.

Made of 100% coconut shell, the Airpura activated carbon filter is stimulated with oxygen to open up tiny pores between the carbon atoms which greatly increases the surface area of the carbon. The carbon bed is two inches deep and has a 570 square inches of filtration area that effectively captures toxic gases, odors, and airborne chemicals like a sponge. This premium quality activated carbon should be changed every2 years for optimum filtration efficiency.
